Product 1: Hydraulic Presses and moulds
Worldwide the name LAEIS stands for trend-setting pressing technology. Being the leading manufacturer of presses for refractory and other ceramic products we are continuously involved in the development of our well proven technology for applications in other areas. The most modern control technique and highly reliable hydraulic components ensure low operating costs and reduced energy consumption. Vacuum pressing technology provides for shorter cycle times and significantly improved product quality.LAEIS press moulds feature high dimensional accuracy and surface quality. Based on state-of-the-art technology our mould engineering department develops high-quality products for an especially long service life.
Product 2: Automation Systems
The automation of production process, including information and material flow, offers the chance to achieve enormous cost savings and thus competitive advantages in production. Focal points of our automation systems are, on the one hand, the gripping systems, directly allocated to the press, for off bearing the shaped products. On the other hand, there are systems arranged downstream of presses, e.g. for kiln car loading, which are mostly designed on the basis of freely programmable articulated robots with special grippers. Furthermore, belonging to this segment are packaging and palletizing units in all possible designs, as well as labelling and many more.
Product 3: Kiln and Driers
Today, the LAEIS kiln department is integrated at our sister company RIEDHAMMER , whereby particularly with kilns for the refractory industry still the technology developed at Laeis is used. Projects outside of the refractory industry and/or technical ceramics are handled also in cooperation with our group partners. Thus, the combined competence of a broad range of kiln experts from different fields is available to LAEIS for the solution of various tasks.For each kiln project individual planning and construction services are provided, which also consider energy consumption and economy calculations.
